Tim was a pleasure to work with! He is very approachable and was available and returned calls and messages promptly. He brought insightful creativity to our project and delivered a great design that met our objectives. He was also great in connecting us with professionals that could complete the design. My wife and I first met Tim when he joined our project as we were completing plans for our new home and preparing to move to construction documents. The home is a very unique contemporary home and required a good deal of attention and problem solving for each component and area of design. Tim was the person to be our “go to “person to handle the details, sort out problems and research the many ideas and solutions needed to keep the project moving.
We were always pleased with his professionalism as well as high level of engagement and interest in every step. It was nice that he also brought a sense of humor.
We were personally very involved in the process and we were continually throwing a lot of questions and ideas to Tim, almost on a daily basis. He always promptly responded and typically had an idea, a solution and the research and details at the ready.
In this role, Tim was the interface with the contractor and the various onsite project leaders such as the site superintendent and the many subs. All of these people were comfortable working with Tim and confident that he was there to help them get the project done well.

We met with Tim Wade several times as we began planning to build our new home. We had never built a house before. Tim helped us to better understand the process, the role of the architect, and how to evaluate and clearly establish our own priorities. We also loved talking with him. He is pleasant, intelligent, thoughtful and honest. We were keen to work with him. Unfortunately, our builder was extremely resistant, and in an effort to not offend him we did not avail ourselves of Tim’s expertise. That was a mistake. Our builder made many errors that cost us both time and money. Some of them cannot be remedied. In retrospect, we think it very likely that Tim’s involvement in the project would have saved us more money than it would have cost. And the frustration, anxiety and headaches we might have avoided? Priceless!

Tim was very helpful in getting our variance in Saratoga Springs so we can eventually build our retirement home. Tim was a pleasure to work with. He got back to us in a timely manner and had some great ideas in designing our house. Unfortunately with Covid 19 we had to put our plans on hold for a bit.
